Quality Frog Privacy Policy
I, Joseph Benjamin Simo, operate a website, blog, stores, and email service under the names "Quality Frog" and "Questioning Software".
I respect your privacy regarding any information I collect while operating these services and will take all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.
Usage data is collected by my servers and the servers of third-party service providers. This usage data generally consists of recording the visitor's IP address and referring web page for each page viewed. Although a visitor's IP address is not in itself personally-identifying data, it is a potentially personally-identifying piece of data.
Some services I offer may use cookies to identify and track visitors. A cookie is a string of information that a website stores on a visitor's computer, and that computer's browser provides to the website each time the visitor returns. Visitors that do not wish to have cookies placed on their computers should set their browsers to refuse cookies before using my wesites, with the drawback that certain features may not function properly without the aid of cookies.
Visitors to my websites may choose to participate in features (e.g., blog post comments, participation in the forums, store purchases, etc.) that require the gathering of personally-identifying information. In these cases, information is collected insofar as it is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitors interaction with the services.
Visitors can always refuse to supply personally-identifying information, with the caveat that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website-related activities.
I will not rent or sell personally-identifying information to anyone. I will not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
* I may display aggregated information publicly (e.g., page visit and view counts, world visitor maps, etc.).
* I may disclose personally-identifying and potentially personally-identifying information to those that need to know in order to provide a service on my behalf and that have agreed not to disclose it to others.
* I may disclose personally-identifying information when required to do so by law, or when I believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect my property or rights, third partys, or the public at large.
If you supply your email address, I or a service provider may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with any of my services. I do not send bulk emails on any regular basis to anyone that does not explicitly opt in to receive such emails.
Participation in the forums requires that you disclose your name and email address. This and any other information you disclose on a publicly-accessible forum is open to the public. Please be careful about providing personal information in public forums.
Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns about this policy.
